Docking Systems Subject Matter Expert Consultant

Job Description

Education, Experience, and Skills: Extensive experience in architecture of docking systems suitable for Deep Space Exploration and assembly of complex space structures. 15+ years in project and technical management in areas of system engineering, hardware manufacturing, integration, and testing.

II.         Special Qualifications:  NASA docking system technical expert with NASA experience specific to docking concepts and standards development, qualification, and flight certification.

III.        Scope of Work:  Provide technical and programmatic expertise to docking system programs.

IV.        Specific Tasks:

Review and provide feedback on docking system design, architecture, and concept of operations, identifying areas of high technical, schedule, or financial risk. Advise on possible solutions to mitigate or eliminate risks. Review and provide feedback on technical and programmatic strategies to address customer and commercial requirements and expectations.

Pay range based on years experience. Hourly rate apply.
