District Planned Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated District Planned Maintenance Manager to join our Northeast/Mida Atlantic District. The Planned Maintenance Service Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and developing our PM service operations while driving business success. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background and a passion for excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Operations & Management: Oversee day-to-day PM service operations, ensuring efficient dispatch, scheduling, and fulfillment of service orders. Manage the branch's Service P&L and forecasted service revenue to meet targets consistently.
- PM Completion: schedule and completion of over 10,000 PM visits throughout the region annually and opportunity is maximized.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of PM service technicians, ensuring high performance, efficient work allocation, and proper training. Facilitate ongoing technician development, skill leveling, and certification (including AAADM).
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors. Represent the company in meetings related to new customers, renewals, and ongoing customer engagement.
- Business Development & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team on service-related activities, including consumable parts sales, product pricing, and identifying opportunities for service expansions such as UniFit, sensor upgrades, and preventive maintenance (PM) contracts.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Establish monthly forecasts and ensure results align with goals. Monitor KPIs such as contribution margin improvements and field operation cost reductions.
- Inventory & Cost Management: Oversee van inventory, ensuring accurate stock management for technicians. Optimize cost efficiency and contribute to the reduction of operational costs.
- Safety & Compliance: Foster a safety-first culture that aligns with ASSA ABLOY values. Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices across all operations.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments including Sales, Finance, Field Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure seamless operations.
- Travel: Regularly visit the 4 branches in the region.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience managing a dynamic field service operation, including managing 15+ direct field technicians and service subcontractors. Experience in the door automation or construction industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electromechanical products and ability to interpret construction specifications and drawings.
