The Job:  

As a Distribution Supervisor Second Shift, you’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor Team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: 

Perform research and analysis; assist in the design and development of distribution processes which include quality, safety, cost reduction and operations to facilitate continuous process improvement.

• Establishes daily production goals and monitors intra-day performance to achieve these goals
• Participates in root cause analysis to identify problems and recommend changes.
• Monitors production standards and develops programs to improve operational throughput
• Observes Team Members activities and work methods, recommends areas of opportunity.
• Assists in training team members on distribution processes and equipment.
• Assists the DC Manager in problem resolution relating to production, standard operating procedures, safety and quality.
• Evaluates the performance of Team Members and communicates feedback regarding job performance and expectations in a timely manner.
• Participates on distribution project teams acting as a co-facilitator or facilitator.
• May act as a project manager on assigned projects.
• Other tasks as required.

• 3+ years multi-shift distribution center experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Technical skills in logistics processes and methods to include flow, cost efficiencies, engineered standards, equipment, safety and quality.
• Analytical skills to include problem identification and resolution.
• Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan, Red Prairie) Required.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• May be required to lift 50 to 75 pounds. Must be capable of sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods of time. Required to work in a physical environment that is subject to temperature extremes.  May require the movement of mobile and fixed equipment.
