Distribution Associate (P-4570)

We are looking for a Distribution Associate to become part of the Logistics/Warehouse team at 10x Genomics. The applicant will prepare international documentation and understand the general requirements needed before shipping internationally. In this role, the Logistics Specialist will have various responsibilities from preparing documentation for import and export shipments, receipt of incoming packages, picking and packing of ambient and temperature sensitive products. 

The applicant should have experience using an ERP software (Oracle preferred but not required). Applicants applying must work well in a team atmosphere, ability to adapt, detailed orientated, self-starter, and thrive in working at a face paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing shipping labels for domestic and international orders using Fed-Ex Smart ship software and Fedex.com
• Packing of temperature sensitive (using dry ice) and ambient goods in preparation for
  delivery to internal and external customer
• Picking of products in various storage conditions from deep freeze to ambient.
• Process orders through our ERP system for shipping, receiving, and material movement
• Assist in breaking down inbound dry shipment, segregating them by PN and temperature condition
• Responsible for 5S in the area where he is assigned to work
• Assist with receiving and inventory control activities
• Assist with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• May be required to drive company van for delivery and pick up of material.
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience using an ERP system (Oracle preferred but not required) and ShipConsole/Fed-Ex Ship Manager

Below is the base pay range for this full-time position.  The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.  This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.   During the hiring process, your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package.
