Dispensing Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Materials Handling Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help support our mission by ensuring high-quality execution of daily responsibilities, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to a collaborative environment focused on patient care and continuous improvement.

The Basics

Location: Chandler, AZ (onsite)
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 10PM
Compensation: $20.00/hour
Benefits: Eligible

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Receive batch tickets and retrieve medication using an alphanumeric system
• Pick and process sales orders
• Maintain systems for dispensing & inventory control
• Ensure accuracy in scanning medications into our system
• Perform reverse distribution of expired medication
• Manage department inventory par levels
• Monthly and quarterly cycle counting
• Carefully and precisely pack medications in a detail-oriented manner
• Pack medicine into boxes ensuring the product is secure by using paper or bubble wrap
• Create, print and affix address labels on packages
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management, pharmacist, or shift leader.

What We’re Looking For

• You take pride in applying attention to detail and work with great accuracy and precision
• Independent and focused – you have your eye on the end goal and understand how critical your role is to the distribution of our medicine
• Always show up (on time) with a positive, professional attitude. No exceptions!
• Able to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs. on occasion
• Must have a valid AZ Pharmacy Technician Trainee License
