Core Responsibilities:

 As a Disability Claims Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of Disability Claims Adjudicators.  Responsibilities include: 
•    Participating in interviewing and selecting staff.
•    Providing training and ongoing mentoring. 
•    Utilizing your knowledge of the Social Security disability program in order to monitor and assess the quality and quantity of work produced by staff.
•    Establish and implement corrective action plans when necessary. 
•    Reporting to management on various activities of your team both verbally and in writing. 
•    Working with other supervisors as part of the agency management team to develop policies and strategies to further the work of the agency.
•    Other duties as assigned.   

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) years’ experience as a Claims Adjudicator or Examiner and a bachelor’s degree.  Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
