Job Description
Leveraging strong knowledge and insights of the priorities of the therapeutic businesses comprising Therapeutics, Analytics & Operations (TA&O), this role provides critical support to the VP in decision-making, alignment, translating strategy into actionable execution that accelerate organizational goals, change management, and executive communications. Operating at the intersection of business strategy, leadership, and communications, this role plays a pivotal role in optimizing leadership effectiveness by navigating complex relationships, influencing leaders and other stakeholders without direct authority, fostering collaboration, and driving & measuring organizational success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement and change management efforts across TA&O, including the business transformation, by identifying and implementing new strategies, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving adoption of integrated, future-focused ways of working
- Identify capabilities developed in areas of TA&O and facilitating scaling/applications in other areas
- Executing opportunities to drive operational effectiveness within and across business units with key cross-functional partners, e.g., Finance and HR
- Facilitate effective and collaborative cross-functional engagements to optimize AbbVie capabilities, e.g., with Integrated Brand Teams, Customer Experience, Medical, Compliance HEOR, Business Technology Solutions, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Required; advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA)
- Minimum 8+ years with Bachelor's degree or 6+ years with a Master's degree of successful and relevant leadership experie
