Director Supply Chain

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the operations and financial management of the hospital supply chain. The director will be responsible for all functional areas of supply chain and material management including but not limited to operations, budget, inventory, logistics, value analysis, sourcing, contracting, and data management. The director will support the executive director in development and implementation of strategic plans which align with Meritus Health executive strategy and transformation.

Education - Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's in healthcare, Business, Finance or related field preferred.

Experience - 5+ years' experience in hospital supply chain. Hospital management experience and higher level administrative experience/involvement required. Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing supply chain outcomes in prior roles.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Strong Management/Supervisory skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to collaborate across disciplines within the hospital. Must be able to work effectively in groups and lead groups (even multidisciplinary). Must be able to effectively present information to large groups. Must understand data and analyics to ensure good decision making and performance measurement. Must be fluent in LEAN or equivalent quality improvement methodologies.
