Job Summary
Serves as a system leader, designing, executing, and maintaining an integrated learning ecosystem that accelerates organizational transformation. This role drives strategic execution by shaping people centered change strategies, modernizing learning operations, and equipping teams with the capabilities needed to advance Children's Wisconsin's highest priority strategic initiatives. Provides thought leadership and operational excellence across all facets of system wide capability building, aligning learning strategy to organizational priorities, stewarding modern learning technologies, embedding analytics into decision-making, and ensuring that learning and change enablement are executed with consistency, rigor, and measurable impact.
Essential Functions
- Enterprise Leadership & Strategy Serves as an advisor and thought partner to executive leaders in designing and implementing cross functional learning and enablement strategies that accelerate strategic initiative execution. Functions as a change strategist, shaping and guiding people focused change enablement for transformation imperatives and co leading the design of a practical enterprise change management framework. In partnership with the Chief Learning Officer, defines the long term strategic vision for a modern, data driven learning ecosystem—encompassing systems, processes, infrastructure, and governance.
- Transformation & Change Enablement Leads the integration of learning and change strategies into enterprise transformation efforts, ensuring readiness, clear communication, adoption, and sustained behavior change. Establishes enterprise level metrics and success criteria for learning and change initiatives, guiding efforts from early stage incubation through full operational handoff.
- Learning Innovation & Ecosystem Design Directs research and adoption of emerging trends in human performance, digital learning, and enabling technologies to scale high quality, high velocity learning experiences. Partners with IS to optimize value and adoption of enterprise learning and productivity platforms, including Workday Learning and the M365 suite—to advance digital fluency and streamline operational efficiency. Provides oversight of learning experience design, agile development processes, and the integration of both custom and market-available learning solutions.
- Learning Operations & Performance Optimization Leads system-wide learning operations to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and the use of leading edge practices, processes, and technologies. Oversees enterprise learning platforms, learning operations workflows, and audio visual services to ensure scalable, seamless delivery of system wide capability building. Advances a culture of data-driven decision making by embedding analytics into learning design, performance measurement, and reporting—ensuring clear demonstration of ROI when needed and the ability to meet all internal and external reporting requirements.
- Governance, Prioritization & Accountability Shapes system-wide policies, standards, and governance structures for learning and organizational enablement practices. Sets strategic priorities, define operational goals, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across learning operations teams.
