About the Role: 

Everest Insurance, a member of Everest Group Ltd., is seeking an experienced AVP, Platform Lead for Everest Underwriting Partners with a strong background in Property & Casualty commercial insurance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of industry experience, preferably with leading carriers specializing in commercial lines. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive enterprise-wide reporting and analytics initiatives to support business growth and portfolio management. 

Role Overview 

The role will partner with Underwriting operations and business leaders to develop data processing and integration with Everest core backend systems such as Data warehouse and WINS This role demands close collaboration with IT and other functions to navigate a fast-paced, agile environment and quickly adapt to market changes. The successful candidate will leverage analytical expertise to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights to senior stakeholders. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Be a primary IT point of contact for EUP data processing platform. 
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement and maintain scalable third-party premium data integration with Everest platforms.  
  • Responsible for on-boarding new underwriting partner programs to the platform. 
  • Maintain platform resilience and availability. 
  • Produce metrics across programs quality and performance metrics. 
  • Lead team of developers and testers in more hands-on mode of agile development 
  • Ensure platform continues to meet evolving security and compliance team requirements. 
  • Analyze business data processing problems to implement and improve systems and streamline existing processes, develop, and report on data trends, and perform data analysis. 
  • Evaluate data systems, operations, and organizational aspects of various departments, and make recommendations. 
  • Analyze large datasets and able to tell a story using statistical techniques and product knowledge to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights. 
  • Establish and promote Best Practices for Data analysis, Visualization, and defining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in collaboration with Data Governance, Operations and Technology teams.
