About the role

We are looking for a Director, Project Support (DPS) to join our A-team (hybrid*/remote). As a DPS at Allucent, you will serve as a key role in project administration to ensure delivery of projects within the established budget and timeline in collaboration with Clinical Project Management.

In this role your key tasks will include:

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Project Support (PS) function.
  • Provide leadership and management to secure the successful completion of PS deliverables within assigned studies.
  • Train and manage staff to contribute to the successful delivery of projects within the parameters of time, quality, and cost. 
  • Provide direct supervision, support, training, and mentoring to staff regarding all general aspects of the PS roles and will be responsible for performance assessments and annual review of direct reports.
  • Assist in resource utilization, policy development, and implementation of goals by working with Project Leadership in all functional areas on the continuous development of business processes to support cross-functional teams ensuring work is uniform, complete, and managed appropriately within the assigned functional area. 
  • Responsibilities may include oversight of all PS deliverables, including participation in business development activities.
  • Actively support learning & development within the company.
  • Mentor and help with onboarding of new PS staff.
  • Draft and contribute as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of PS activities to the evaluation/improvement of processes and procedures within the Quality Management System.
  • Ensure good communication and relationships with (future) clients.
  • May contribute and take part in client evaluations, visits, and bid defenses.
  • Contribute to other areas of the business, as required.

Requirements

  • Life science, healthcare and/or business Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
  • Minimum 4 years of advanced Project Specialist work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in drug development and/or clinical research
  • Minimum 5 years of management responsibility
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good/ knowledge of GxP (standards of good practice)
  • GDPR and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Advanced leadership and management skills
  • Excellent judgment and decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving ability
  • Expertise in negotiating and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral/presentation and written communication skills in the native language and in English
  • Ability to perform tasks required of a functional staff
  • Ability to successfully network with other departments/functional areas, where necessary
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading, motivating, and integrating project teams
  • Self-motivated and possesses good interpersonal skills and projects a positive attitude
  • Ability to effectively teach required skills
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical development regulatory guidelines and directives
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
  • Representative, outgoing, and client focused
  • Ability to work in the fast-paced, challenging environment of a growing company
  • Proficiency with various computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Administrative excellence
