WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Director, Program Delivery & Operations at Teach For America Massachusetts (TFA MA), you’ll play a critical leadership role in translating regional program strategy into high-quality, coherent, and impactful corps member experiences across the two-year corps commitment. You will serve as the operational backbone of the program team, leading the planning, coordination, and execution of key corps member experiences and ensuring that programmatic priorities are implemented consistently and effectively across the two-year program arc.
You’ll oversee the systems, structures, and delivery mechanisms for regionally designed programming that supports corps members from pre-service through their in-service experience, including summer practicum, workshops or PLCs, all-corps summits, and community-building experiences. You’ll work in close collaboration with Managing Directors of Leadership Development (MDLDs), the Managing Director, Early Corps Experience, and the Senior Managing Director, Program Strategy & Impact, to ensure that corps members experience a cohesive and aligned developmental journey grounded in leadership, belonging, instructional growth, and impact.
This role sits at the intersection of program design, operations, and adult learning. You’ll help shape and operationalize the regional corps member experience by building strong planning systems, coordinating complex cross-functional workstreams, supporting high-quality facilitation and implementation, and driving continuous improvement processes informed by data and feedback. You will also coordinate closely with vendors, alumni, facilitators, and external partners who contribute to the design and execution of regional programming and experiences.
This role is highly collaborative and requires strong lateral leadership. While this position does not directly manage staff, it plays a critical role in aligning and coordinating the work of program team members to ensure high-quality execution and a strong corps member experience. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be an exceptional project manager, operational systems thinker, communicator, facilitator, and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and can move seamlessly between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
Most importantly, you believe deeply in the power of educators and are committed to building meaningful, human-centered learning experiences that support corps members to thrive as teachers and leaders in Massachusetts communities.
