Position Overview:

As a Director of Platform Innovation, you will apply your technical expertise in product management to oversee the entire lifecycle of beverage dispensers. This role requires in-depth knowledge in business, engineering, or a related technical field, and the ability to innovate, inspire, and influence across all areas of the company. We're looking for someone with experience in the beverage industry, consumer electronics, software-driven products, and commercial kitchen equipment. Crucial to this role is a focus on collaboration, the ability to inspire and develop oneself and others.

Vision and Strategy

• Ability to develop and manage complex technical product innovations, including: features, performance, costs, field operations, manufacturing, suppliers, and lifecycle management

• Talent for deciphering key consumer needs for a given product solution. Talent for screening ideas objectively, and recommending best alternatives.

• Able to develop new ideas and solutions across internal capabilities as well as with external partners

• Contributes to economic analysis of design features to ensure dispensing platforms deliver best financial value to our partners

• Program and Product Management

• Manage project to ensure timely and accurate execution across stakeholders

• Manage scope and change control: Direct project deliverables to ensure timely and accurate execution

• Skill and capability in driving results with 3rd Party (consultants, legal, etc.) partners

• Anticipate obstacles and objectives to problem solve preemptively

• Leads and directs business aspects of new product development

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related Technical field; Master's Degree preferred.

• Prior experience and track record in Business Development, Product Lifecycle Management (cradle to grave) New Product Introduction, beta and market tests

• Preferred knowledge/experience in beverage industry, on-premise dispense, consumer electronics, software driven products, and commercial kitchen/restaurant equipment.
