SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Financial Services, The Director of Partner Integrations is primarily responsible for representing the Operations and Service functions needed to lead successful integrations of acquisitions of new financial planning firms. This role will act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert representing the Financial Services Department with an emphasis on Operations and Service at several stages of the process- from pre-close due diligence through onboarding and integration. This position collaborates cross-functionally with the Business Development teams, the acquiring partners, Corporate Development and Financial Services to coordinate the successful transition of partners into Allworth’s culture and workflows.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- · Participate in due diligence meetings and provide strategic support at the start to evaluate the feasibility and potential challenges for each potential acquisition from an integration standpoint – Advisors, Service, Operations integration
- · Act as a subject matter expert to answer questions, point on concerns, and help support an overall acquisitions playbook for each new partner acquisition
- · Lead, manage and be accountable for the Operations and Service Transition Teams and their duties of onboarding partner’s client accounts from paperwork creation, mailing, processing and tracking
- · Provide a high level of customer service to new partners, while also acting as a buffer with Allworth employees involved in the transition
- · Be a creative problem solver and continually be looking for solutions. Proactively prevent issues before they happen.
- · Monitor and report on the status of partner integrations
- · Provide expertise related to operational and/or custodian partner transition issues
- · Partner single point of contact for all post-close transition and onboarding needs
- · Lead all aspects of partner client custodian transitions
- · Coordinate with Marketing in the creation of client cover letters and team-sheets for inclusion in client custodian change packets
- · Ensure all documents are accurate and delivered by deadlines
- · Manage expectations with partners during the process to create reasonable deadlines, goals and help with change management.
- · Liaison between partner advisor and the partner’s team, and Allworth’s Unification team (‘A’ Team) for all post-close transition deliverables
- · Deliver improved partner and Allworth employee transition experiences
QUALIFICATIONS:
- · 10+ years of management experience in Wealth Management / RIA industry, preferably with Operations
- · BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Industry licenses and professional designations preferred
- Experience leading projects and overseeing integrations and acquisitions
- Passion for operational efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to manage fast paced environment with focus on efficiency and hitting key deliverables while still providing a high level of customer service

- · Excellent organizational, leadership and collaboration skills, working with all levels of the organization
