Who We Are:

Opening its doors over 45 years ago, FSSI is one of the largest providers of document services in the United States. We are currently looking for a Director of Operations in our Orlando, Florida location. The Director of Operations is accountable for providing leadership and inspiration to departments tasked with producing and delivering high-quality, timely, and accurate physical documents for our clients. Responsibilities encompass both direct and indirect support activities necessary to efficiently and cost-effectively achieve the organization’s objective of surpassing client expectations.

Your Essential Duties:

  • Oversee the management of all Orlando Production and Production Support departments.
  • Ensure that departmental leadership delivers comprehensive training to employees regarding standards, best practices, safety protocols, company policies, and specific job functions.
  • Complete and approve Corrective Action Reports (CARs) for presentation to clients, in collaboration with other members of Senior Management.
  • Supervise or participate in the oversight of the development and implementation of new operational policies.
  • Ensure consistent evaluation of all Production employees, utilizing sound judgment and relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in representing the organization during client visits, including conducting tours and attending Q&A sessions.
  • In partnership with direct reports, develop and manage departmental budgets, evaluate and approve purchase orders within budgetary limits, and review monthly expenses with the VP of Operations.
  • Maintain a 99% on-time Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and quality rating.
  • Exemplify and advocate FSSI’s Core Values while actively coaching and mentoring employees in their professional journey.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of production management experience overseeing multiple production related departments.
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience. Excellent understanding of workflow automation and Quality control.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, organizational acumen, keen attention to detail, and proven effectiveness in executing projects.
  • Demonstrates advanced technical expertise in operations and workflow management with the ability to convert raw production data into meaningful KPIs.
  • Embodies a strong customer service philosophy, works both independently and collaboratively, adapts well to change, and consistently upholds a high level of confidentiality when working with employees at all levels.
