MCHC's Hillside Health Center is seeking an empathetic, visionary Director of Operational Performance. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our clinical services operate seamlessly, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service and consistently applying best practices to enrich the patient experience. Benefits:

Earn a competitive starting salary ranging from $89,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401k Match up to 4%, Flexible Spending Account, and more!  


Duties include: 

  • Develop and implement strategic action plans to enhance operational efficiency and quality throughout the patient experience. 
  • Collaborate with managers and business partners across the organization to ensure seamless coordination of patient service delivery. 
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. 
  • Analyze key performance metrics and develop data-driven strategies to drive operational excellence. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify growth opportunities and engage in pilot projects and change initiatives. 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical managers, with a focus on professional development and high-performing teams. 
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, with a focus on leadership development and succession planning. 
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team through effective recruitment, performance management, and retention strategies. 
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles in systematically removing operational waste and reducing process variation to increase the value and effectiveness of processes. 
  • Regularly round on internal customers and partners (including patients) to obtain feedback, which allows the team to identify issues/priorities and obtain real-time feedback on the effectiveness of changes. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards. 
  • Performs additional duties as assigned. 

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • At least 10 years’ experience in healthcare operations 
  • At least 5 year’s in a leadership capacity within healthcare 
  • Proven track record of driving operational performance improvement in a healthcare setting 

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field  
  • At least 5 years' experience in an outpatient healthcare setting 
  • Certified LEAN
