Are you a strategic and innovative networking leader? Join us as Director of Cloud & Network Engineering and help shape the future of our cloud and on-premise network solutions. In this pivotal role, you’ll set the vision, drive technical excellence, and lead a talented team to deliver robust, scalable, and secure networking services for global clients. You’ll work across cloud-native platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS, OCI) and traditional data centers, ensuring our solutions meet business needs and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record of working with large scale, highly-availability systems, overseeing the performance and quality of the designs, mentoring network developers and engineers, as well as ensuring that services under his/her responsibility meet business requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the strategy for cloud and on-premise networking, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
Technical Excellence: Oversee architecture, design, and implementation of networking solutions, optimizing for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Cloud Connectivity: Evaluate and implement seamless connectivity between on-premises and public cloud environments.
Performance & Troubleshooting: Conduct technical assessments and resolve bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and inefficiencies in networking solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software, product, information security, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and optimal application performance.
Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendor relationships to achieve business objectives and maintain high-quality SLAs.
Budgeting: Provide input for departmental capital and operating budgets.
Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (required).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in cloud-based architecture and networking principles.
Deep expertise in Azure, GCP, OCI, or AWS networking stacks. Proven track record with large-scale, high-availability systems and translating strategy into practical action.
