The Director provides leadership in elementary curriculum, instruction, assessment, and accreditation. The Director is responsible for designing and implementing curriculum; providing technical and instructional support to building administrators and staff; leading district-level initiatives; and managing assigned budgets and programs.
Terms of Employment: Salary and work year to be established by the Auburn-Washburn Board of Education. Salary is commensurate with skills, education, and experience.
Qualifications
Certificates/Licenses/Endorsements/Registrations
Kansas administrative license required
Kansas teaching license required
Education and/or Experience
Master’s degree in education required
Experience in elementary teaching required
Experience coordinating and developing curriculum preferred
Deep knowledge in the areas of emerging literacy and/or numeracy instruction
