Strategic Leadership in Data Governance: 

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with institutional priorities and AI-readiness 

• Serve as the primary advocate for data as a strategic asset across the College 

• Collaborate with IT, Institutional Research, and academic/administrative units to ensure consistent data practices 

Impactful Work in Higher Education: 

• Lead the Data Governance Committee and coordinate with data stewards and custodians 

• Oversee metadata management, data cataloging, and data quality monitoring 

• Ensure enterprise systems support accurate data capture and reporting 

Collaborative & Future-Focused Environment: 

• Supervise and mentor the Business Analyst to align work with governance goals 

• Promote data literacy and provide training to staff and faculty 

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to translate institutional needs into data solutions 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Leadership 

• Develop and implement a college-wide data governance framework 

• Advocate for ethical and strategic use of data across departments 

Team Management 

• Supervise the Business Analyst and guide performance and professional development 

• Align team efforts with institutional data goals 

Data Governance & Quality 

• Establish and enforce data policies, standards, and procedures 

• Lead initiatives for metadata management and data quality monitoring 

Operational Data Support 

• Ensure consistent and effective use of enterprise systems 

• Coordinate intake and prioritization of operational data requests 

• Facilitate system and process changes to support reporting needs 

Stakeholder Engagement & Literacy 

• Promote data literacy and provide training on governance tools
