About the role
The Director of CRM Technology is an effective, hands-on leader with a strong background in all software for sales and reporting to support sales leadership to achieve its sales goals and track KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the team and all platforms associated with CRM processes.
- Partner effectively with internal teams to maintain strategic and analytical alignment with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and Construction teams.
- Implement and support tracking of new construction projects and win / loss ratios along with other KPIs
- Define and implement effective policies and procedures for sales operations and sales process improvement.
- Ensure efficient and effective sales funnel, sales opportunity, and sales forecast management through ownership and utilization of Salesforce, and other software platforms.
- Design and implement improvements to Salesforce and other software platforms.
- Develop sales reporting improvements and automation in Salesforce.
- Prepare sales productivity analyses and provide results and recommendations.
- Define and enforce boundaries and rules of engagement between sales channels
- Act as a point of escalation for assistance with customer quotes, sales contracts, bookings, etc.
- Implement and support the use of third-party sales databases and their integration with Salesforce
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to drive effective sales lead tracking, follow up, and customer engagement by sales team members
- Implement a contracts management strategy and solution for sales agreements
- Support effective onboarding and training of new sales team members
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance and Operations to resolve operational issues, update KPI reporting, analyze historical sales data, identify key drivers of performance, and highlight areas of opportunity.
- Provide ad hoc analyses and messaging to the leadership on sales results, trends, opportunities, and risks
- Create automation and proactively alert leadership with win / loss ratios by region and type.
- Manage and track close rates and sales compensation function, including quota tracking, monthly sales commission cycle, and commission payments.
- Partner with sales leaders to manage the quota assignment process for all sales channels and sales positions
- Act as a subject matter expert and business partner to Finance and Accounting regarding sales compensation
- Other duties as required or assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in managing and supporting a CRM solution plus other business applications
- Expert experience working with CRM systems in operational or project management roles
- Experience working directly with Salesforce.com in a sales and marketing related environment
- Large CRM project management and configuration experience (automation, optimization, AI)
- Ability to translate problems, draw connections between data and take action to solve business needs
- Experience driving and managing a change management culture and breakthrough technology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Excellent organizational and communications skills, with strategic thinking, and a strong attention to detail
- Team player with good leadership capabilities, a diplomatic approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
- Solution oriented, proactive, and analytical with a focus on delivering results
- Superior skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
