What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Director of Billing within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day activities of the AR Billing and Folio Staff, including ensuring sales, credit card charges, and billing processes are completed timely and within deadlines. You will report directly to the Vice President of Billing Operations.

As Director of Billing, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
• Assigned workspace in either our St. Charles, IL office

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Managing the operational activities of the department, including staffing levels
• Maintaining an intimate knowledge of key accounts, account preferences and activity flows
• Working effectively with hotels, carriers, and ALE employees to ensure timely and accurate completion of invoicing
• Managing escalated vendor issues
• Developing and driving best practices in operations and processes ensuring consistency with company requirements, internal and external controls and audit requirements
• Responsible for execution of overall talent recruitment and development strategies for Billing including recruitment, hiring, training, employee development and performance management
• Planning, organizing, leading and controlling the activities of the group, including projects, schedules, priorities, and personnel. This includes operational and strategic efforts aimed at driving business process improvement and revenue maximization
• Fostering an environment of operational excellence and promote/implement continuous improvement practices
• Collaborating with Account Management, Finance and Operations team leaders in the implementation of new technologies and procedures
• Required to have in-depth billing experience and able to speak to customers about the process
• Identifying risks related to the vendor and client invoicing process
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's Degree + 8 years related experience + 5 years management
• ACT program experience a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills for this position
• Exhibits strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and sound judgement
• Occasional travel if required
