Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for being the public champion for experience and engagement charged with improving the associate experience at all locations, facilitating engagement, increasing retention, and promoting our desired values, and behaviors. You will evaluate the current associate experience and engagement levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with property and department leaders to solve deep rooted barriers to associates’ experiences. You will report to the Senior Director of Associate Experience.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will design and implement associate programs to promote engagement and exceptional associate experiences.
2. Analyze quantitative and qualitative engagement/experience data; assess organizational engagement efforts; establish best practices regarding associate experience; implement programs to increase staff retention and advancement.
3. Develop marketing and engagement activities to enhance employee brand both internally and externally so we are seen as an employer of choice.
4. Create an associate communication program.
5. You will represent the associate's views during meetings on organizational changes, policy modifications.
6. Provide clear counsel to management on people-related issues including performance management, employee relations and organizational design.
7. Collaborate with colleagues in HR and other divisions/departments to review and revise processes with an eye to improve the associate experience.
8. Be the community face of the associate engagement and experience. Partner with external communities/organizations with the end goal to increase associate retention.
9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Administration, or related field or 4 years related experience.
Knowledge of people development, recruitment, and employee relations
Knowledge of current advances in people and culture change
3+ years of experience delivering people strategies and implementing action plans
Seven (7) years' experience with activities affecting employee relations such as HR operations/administration or talent acquisition/development
