As the Director of the Leadership Search and Scouting team, you’ll help find new, innovative ways to identify and attract senior level talent in North America. The team is heavily focused on transformation, so there will be lots of opportunities for you to improve processes and implement best-in-class ways of working.

The North America Talent Acquisition team is responsible for all external and internal hiring into Sanofi and the Leadership Search and Scouting team is responsible for hiring senior leaders in US and Canada. As the Director of Leadership Search & Scouting, you’ll be responsible for shaping the future of our senior level recruitment efforts, contributing significantly to our company's continued growth and success. You will be a cornerstone of our senior recruitment strategy, entrusted with the responsibility of identifying, attracting and securing top-tier talents. This dynamic role is instrumental in our mission to elevate and fortify our leadership team across North America. Serve as the primary talent leader to champion and design an array of solutions to meet current and future people demands.

 

  • Partner with Talent Management and People & Culture Partners to facilitate key talent processes, including but not limited to talent review and, succession planning with a goal of turning outputs into actionable plans

  • Actively advocate our inclusion and diversity ambitions to ensure our employee population is as diverse as the patients we serve

  • Coach and develop a core team of talent professionals as well as act as the primary leadership point of contact for recruitment outsourcing partners

  • Leverage digital tools and resources to gain insights into internal and external talent trends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of 2 Sr. Recruiters to drive and deliver an effective professional search process which align with overall Business and Talent Strategies

  • Oversee all aspects of the senior-level recruitment process for North America, co-create and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies specifically tailored to the North American market to identify and attract top-tier talents

  • Actively works to gain genuine understanding of business goals

  • Utilize your strong business acumen to collaborate with senior leaders and hiring managers

  • As a senior member of the North America TA team, you will educate and empower others and share best practices

  • Partner with the Employer Branding team to create a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) relevant for senior-level talent in North America

  • Manage the planning and execution of all staffing initiatives based on headcount planning, trends of hiring, and special hiring projects and/or expansions when relevant

  • Foster relationships/partnerships with People Business Partners, People Excellence Partners, Compensation and Talent Management to ensure a holistic approach on Talent Strategies and Recruitment Strategies

  • Coach and counsel hiring managers on the full cycle hiring process and develop recruitment strategies that align with the business goals

  • Influence Talent Acquistion Partners and Hiring Managers to partner directly, ensuring strategic view and ongoing status of hiring goals

  • Provide counsel to hiring managers, business leaders, and People Business Partners when developing offer proposals, utilizing external market data and internal compensation analysis tools

  • Encourage direct partnership between Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to foster collaboration and ensure the team performs to a level of excellence

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University

  • 9+ years of broad experience in human resources and talent acquisition within life sciences, health care or comparable industry, or in a best-in-class talent acquisition organization

  • Experienced team leader who is comfortable in a player/coach role

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading and managing end-to-end search and scouting for senior level talent

  • Experience in inclusive passive candidate
