The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Internal Communications to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that foster employee engagement, promote the organization's culture and values, and ensure consistent messaging across all internal channels.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Content Creation: Produce and oversee the creation of internal communication materials, including newsletters, emails, intranet content, and announcements.

  • Executive Communication: Collaborate with senior leadership to craft messages and presentations that effectively communicate corporate initiatives and updates to employees.

  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, including town hall meetings, Q&A sessions, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Crisis Communication: Develop and manage communication plans for crisis situations, ensuring timely and transparent communication with employees.

  • Measurement and Analytics: Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and make data-driven improvements.

Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal communications.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.

  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in a similar role within a large organization.

  • Knowledge of change management principles.
