JOB SUMMARY:

As the Director, HR Operations & HRIS, you will be a key leader in transforming the HR experience for our owners, and implementing our new HRIS in 2025.  In this position, you will directly lead the team responsible for our HR Operations and HR system, and interact with our owners as well as HR and business leaders on a daily basis.  You should be a detailed oriented, process driven individual with a passion for delivering a seamless HR experience to our owners, both in the US and Globally. This individual should bring energy every day and work collaboratively as we make hope a reality for patients suffering from rare and orphan diseases. #LI-REMOTE

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading a team to deliver across HR Operations and HRIS.

HR Operational responsibilities will include:

  • US Benefit Operations:
    • Managing external benefit carriers and systems (across H&W, Retirement, Leaves of Absence, and Wellbeing)
    • Delivering Open Enrollment to our owners
    • Ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and timelines as well as the accuracy of required government filings
    • Delivering our wellbeing programs
    • Primary partner with Legal, Finance, and Payroll functions as required regarding plan operations, plan funding, and accounting of the benefits budgets and billing
    • Manages day to date benefit questions and solutions via direct interaction with employees at all levels
  • Global Benefit Operations:
    • Managing our external Global and Local Brokers to deliver benefits to our owners
    • Ensuring new owners are enrolled timely in local benefit plans, and leavers are unenrolled in local benefit plans
    • Manages day to day benefit questions and solutions via direct interaction with employees at all levels
  • Equity Operations:
    • Partner with Total Rewards Strategy to manage the administration of the equity plans (stock options, RSUs, performance shares, and ESPP)
    • Oversee the accuracy of the file feeds from the HRIS to the equity administrator
    • Receive and triage to appropriate resources, questions from owners regarding equity
  • Responsible for the accuracy or the data maintained in the HRIS
  • Responsible for partnering with HR Leaders to developing, modifying, and delivering Owner Onboarding
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivery Reporting & Analytics to HR and Business Leaders
  • Own the process for resolving HR related issues for owners, including day-to-day questions
  • Support our HR Business Partner colleagues  

HRIS responsibilities will include:

  • Project manager for the implementation of our new HRIS
  • Responsible for ensuring efficient design of HR Operations, and the functionality of our HRIS
  • Manage and influence the governance structure of our HR and Data systems
  • Responsible for the continuous evolution of HR process and controls to meet the demands of the business
  • Manage external vendors and consultants who will assist in maintaining the HRIS
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a broad array of HR operations roles
