The Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Global Process Ownership to lead and build and grow our global process initiatives. Reporting to the CFO, this role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency of our processes across all regions. Success in this position looks like the seamless integration and optimization of processes that drive operational excellence and support our strategic goals. This role fits into the organization by collaborating with various departments, including finance, accounting, internal audit, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid position based out of our San Diego, CA office. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of global process standards and best practices.
  • Ensure processes are aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to process owners and stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance process knowledge and skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in process management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of global process standards, SOX control environments, business controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
  • Certification or strong experience in process management or related field (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Experience in a global or multinational organization.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Veracyte is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

Pay range$200,000$220,000 USD
