Director, Cybersecurity Engineering

Job Description

Our company is looking for a leader to join our Cyber Rapid Innovation organization to spearhead new technology initiatives. This leader serves as an enterprise-wide point of contact and SME for emerging technologies and how they impact our overall security footprint. Additionally, this individual will serve as a liaison between our company and the broader cyber industry and community. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office) based in Rahway, NJ

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proof of concept exercises for our CISO organization

• Interface with vendors, peers, and the broader industry to stay on top of new and emerging technologies in the security ecosystem

• Oversee the engineering and implementation of complex security systems bo.th on-premises and in the cloud

• Build a strong internal network to ensure cohesion across multiple business verticals

• Ensure engineering excellence is front and center as new solutions are brought in and enabled

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

• Minimum five years of managerial experience in people leadership, with the ability to inspire and guide teams

• At least 5 years' experience in Engineering leadership experience, with a specific focus on large enterprise-scale initiatives

• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly

• Demonstrated innovation in the field of technology and/or cybersecurity

• Adept at networking and building partnerships within the industry

• Commitment to execution excellence, ensuring high standards in all projects

• Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems
