Digital Technology Automation Engineer Sr

SUMMARY:

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Senior Client Engineer to join our Digital Operations team. In this role, you will lead initiatives focused on systems integration and automation, helping modernize and optimize enterprise technology platforms. You’ll work closely with cross functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure digital services that support business operations and customer outcomes.

WORK LOCATION 

This position follows Oshkosh Corporation’s hybrid work model, with three days in-office and two days remote each week.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Design, implement, and support integration and automation solutions across enterprise systems and tools.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.

• Lead development of custom scripts, workflows, and integrations using modern tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, APIs, Ansible, etc.).

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior engineers and support staff.

• Maintain system documentation and ensure alignment with security and compliance policies.

• Monitor and troubleshoot integration and automation processes to ensure high availability and performance.

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to drive operational excellence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four (4) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, customer service, problem solving, cross team collaboration, risk analysis, analytical, operating systems, hardware.

• Written and communication skills, problem solving, time management, teamwork.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.

• Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.

• Prior work in manufacturing, defense, or similar industries is a plus.

Pay Range:

$82,000.00 - $132,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
