If you are a Digital Strategy Solutions Architect looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opening for you! Based in our Houston, Texas location, you will Lead digital strategy engagements and develop software architecture.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead digital strategy engagements understanding the business objectives, challenges, and digital transformation needs within the Measurement Solutions domain.
- Develop a comprehensive software architecture, select right tools and platforms considering cybersecurity.
- Develop a roadmap aligned with Emerson’s strategic goals and industry trends, applying expertise in measurement technologies.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to formulate seamless integration strategies with Emerson’s product portfolio and develop software product features.
- Champion strong relationships with key collaborators, including customers, partners, and internal departments, to drive collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction
- Research the latest tools and technologies for digital transformation

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Engineering or Technical field
- 6 plus years’ experience in product support and product development architecting software and firmware framework or in a related field
- Previous experience supporting the Oil and Gas, Chemical, or Petrochemical industry
- General knowledge of Instrumentation, automation, and control
- Experience in Gas Analysis and Gas Chromatography
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Prior Emerson experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Emerson Product Portfolio such as Plantweb Insight, DeltaV, AMS
- Knowledge of ISA 99 Purdue Model
- Working knowledge of Cybersecurity principles
- Knowledge of different communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, Ethernet IP, OPC UA
