Digital Product Manager (UX Design)

Website Product Manager who will lead the strategic direction, design execution, and continuous improvement of the Client’s public-facing website in Rockville, Maryland. 

As the Client embarks on a comprehensive website redesign in partnership with a third-party vendor, this role will act as the internal Product Owner—ensuring the new digital experience reflects the Client’s values of accessibility, transparency, and resident-focused service. This position will blend product strategy, user-centered design, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor coordination to deliver a modern, accessible, and engaging online platform for the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Public Administration, UX Design, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a digital/web environment.
• Strong understanding of web usability, UX/UI design, responsive design, and accessibility standards (WCAG and Section 508).
• Experience working with CMS platforms like Drupal, WordPress, or Sitecore.
• Skilled in stakeholder facilitation, project coordination, and vendor management.
• Experience leading website redesigns or digital product launches.
• Familiarity with agile workflows and translating user needs into development tasks.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hotjar.
• Experience with content governance, change management, and team training.
