About the role

Digital Engineer, Lead

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical acumen with leadership skills to make an impact in DoD enterprise and systems design, development, and delivery? Would you work to understand your client’s environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission? Then your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused engineering solution.

As a Digital Engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to create critical systems to support our client’s Digital Engineering (DE) transformation. Your technical expertise will be vital as you consult with the government on the Government Reference Architecture (GRA) ecosystem being developed to support weapon and test systems design and integration approaches. You will use your system engineering expertise to develop enterprise architectures, description system models, engineering analysis, and reports as needed. Come develop your skills in DE and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) while gaining experience with new systems development. Grow your skills by merging DE, MBSE, and Agile systems engineering methods to provide creative solutions for development, implementation, testing, and sustainment of new and legacy systems. Join our team and help turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

  • Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapons and test systems
  • Experience with DE and MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored mode-based artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development
  • Experience conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on enterprise and system performance or behaviors
  • Experience with the practical application of System Modeling Language (SyML) for weapon system modeling and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) for C5I networks and test systems modeling
  • Experience with DE or MBSE tools, including MagicDraw or Cameo, Teamcenter, DOORS, and SBE Vision
  • Knowledge of Weapon Open System Architecture (WOSA) design principles and technologies

  • Knowledge of using enterprise and system models during government program and engineering reviews
  • Knowledge of system engineering disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, and cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including C++, Java, or Python
  • Ability to plan and deliver capability and demonstrations using Agile project management
  • Ability to produce solutions independently or with a team
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
