We are excited to invite applications to join the Hill's Enabling Tech group within our Global Information Technology Organization (GIT) as a Digital Data Analyst supporting our Vet & Pet digital experiences. You will join an agile team, helping to drive the build of a variety of high-profile applications using modern tools and infrastructure including Snowflake, Customer Data Platforms, Customer Identity & Access Management, and Marketing Cloud solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help realize our vision. A successful candidate will be driven to understand business goals and implement high-quality solutions that deliver performance, maintainability and scalability, using leading cloud-based marketing technology to digitally connect. This role will involve planning, business and data analysis, functional and technical design, as well as close partnership and interaction with the Digital Marketing and IT teams to support the deployment of new technology to optimize and expand digital engagement programs leading to better targeting and engagement with our professionals, customers and consumers. 
 
Please note that this role can be based in Piscataway, NJ or Kansas City, Kansas. 
 
What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Analytics, and eCommerce teams to lead digital marketing data initiatives, focusing on the enhancement of first-party data collection, integration, and strategy implementation using advanced technologies
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our consumer and professional data ecosystem, driving the growth of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and MarTech tools for data-centric marketing, campaign activation, and product analytics
  • Design, develop, and oversee analytical tools such as reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to assess website performance, customer behavior, and the impact of personalization efforts
  • Investigate data inconsistencies, identify root causes, and liaise with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and preventative measures, while also maintaining comprehensive customer journey visualizations for ongoing optimization
  • Devise and execute sophisticated personalization strategies, including audience segmentation and targeting, using data analysis and mapping to refine audience targeting and enhance customer engagement
  • Contribute to Agile project management processes, including SCRUM, by providing insights for engagement estimations and maintaining essential documentation for web analytics, customer data platforms, and personalization frameworks

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Overall 5 years of work experience with at least 3 years in IT/Data Analytics within Digital/Marketing Domain
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Solid understanding of customer data platform, personalization technology, and web analytics tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity - in business requirements, technology options and project direction


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a DTC, B2B & B2C business environment
  • Knowledge of data management concepts like data modeling and warehousing
  • Familiarity with Web & Marketing Technologies & APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Python 
  • Working knowledge of data integration, data transformation frameworks, tools, and methodologies
  • Experience with Snowflake and/or GCP
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology and SCRUM


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $81,200.00 - $134,400.00 USD
