Digital Content Manager

The Digital Content Manager is responsible for leading the planning, strategy, execution, and optimization of all digital channels, including the website, mobile app, social media, and email marketing. This individual will manage and develop a high-performing team, ensuring all content aligns with brand voice, visual standards, and overarching marketing goals.
In collaboration with Marketing leadership and the Media Buyer, the Digital Content Manager will drive the development and performance of digital advertising campaigns, optimize SEM/SEO efforts, and analyze results to continually refine strategy. This role also serves as a primary liaison for any third-party digital agencies, ensuring cohesive execution across platforms. This person will need to be able to manage multiple and changing priorities and execute with tight deadlines. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with Advertising and Direct Mail to execute email campaigns for new and existing customers in both retail and database markets.
2. Execute, measure and report on email campaign efficacy across all Seneca Gaming Corporation brands.
3. Identify and report on which campaigns encourage guest retention and loyalty based on best practices.
4. Create journeys and journey mapping analyzing touchpoints and leveraging cross-marketing, upsell strategies.
5. Deploy testing strategies for all email campaigns and report out on the most effective approach.
6. Create and deliver email-reporting analyses, along with opportunistic recommendations to marketing leadership.
7. Work with marketing leadership in the design for all email campaigns.
8. Work within a Content Management System for website updates.
9. Work with various departments to ensure that all websites are updated with relevant and current information, as well as ensure the creative is updated and fresh.
10. Manage social media and web team.
11. Plans, implements and conducts research of SEO to run effective campaigns, as well optimize the company’s website, social media and other content efforts.
12. Strategize with the Media Buyer to optimize our search engine marketing.
13. Adhere to Purchasing, HR, and TERO compliance requirements.
14. Promote positive public relations.
15. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
16. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
17. Attend all necessary meetings.
18. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
1. Must be 21 years of age or older upon employment.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or relevant marketing degree is required.
3. Must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in email marketing.
4. Must have proven experience in developing and implement SEM/SEO campaigns.
5. Knowledge and an understanding of CMS, CRS and e-mail marketing required. Salesforce and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
6. Google Analytics certification is a plus.
7. Must have experience leading teams in a collaborative environment.
8. Experience in executing email and online marketing campaigns.
9. Must have experience and an advanced working knowledge of HTML.
10. Must have experience and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver
