As a Digital Category Analyst, you will support our Digital Merchandising team with insights from large data sets for online category growth and enhanced customer experience. Working independently as well as partnering with internal stakeholders, you will:
- Conduct analyses of large data sets, connecting data from multiple sources to identify trends and provide actionable insights to drive eCommerce revenue and enhanced overall customer experience
- Use knowledge and understanding of data models and statistics to design and execute test & learns to optimize online portfolio and accelerate top-line growth
- Develop and maintain self-serve dashboards and digital tools to communicate, visualize, and analyze digital and web performance data, enabling team and stakeholders to develop valuable insights
- Use data in effective story building, delivering clear and impactful communication to enable and influence data-driven decision making
- Engage with business partners and stakeholders to understand business objectives, provide data-driven recommendations to optimize online product category, and address on actionable opportunities
- Execute on identified opportunities, meeting defined project requirements and timelines, often in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Up to 5% travel
This position is hybrid, partly in the physical workplace, and partly remotely. A blend of in-office, and remote into our Burlington, MA location or our St Louis, MO location.
Who You Are:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Marketing, Life Science, or a similar discipline
- 1+ years of experience in data science, analytics, eCommerce, or Digital Marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in related business discipline
- Life Science, Chemicals or Healthcare industry knowledge
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Some experience with advanced analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience in analysis of large datasets and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Story building and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate up to senior management level
