The Job:  

As a Die Support Associate, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as an on-site employee based out of Hampstead, MD. You’ll get to:  

• Disassemble tools and adaptors from all tool holders

• Inspect tooling members for any visual defects and fill out appropriate documents

• Clean all tooling members and place in the designated areas

• Keep all tooling adaptors stored correctly in the assigned areas

• Clean tool holders and inspect for visual defects

• Remove assembled tool holders from presses

• Remove tools from presses

• Clean press for next set up

• Obtain adaptors from storage and prep for die setting

• Monitor and keep miscellaneous hardware inventories

• Maintain inventory in die setting area

The Person:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

• Ability to perform basic math – add, subtract, and multiply whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

• Mechanical ability, with a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to endure continuous standing of 8 to 10 hours daily

• Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 33 lbs independently and up to 70 lbs with assistance

• Ability to read and interpret tooling assembly

• PIV certified or ability to become certified

• Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement demonstrated by a work history of safe performance, accuracy and attention to detail in the work performed, and constructive problem solving and suggestions for improvement

• Availability to work daily and weekly overtime as required

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $21.20-$23.81 per hour. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
