Agile Decision Sciences (ADS,) a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Records Management Specialist (also called Information Specialist 3) to support our nationwide contract to provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with records management services. This position requires
• BA degree or three years of experience in records management.
• Experience with at least one automated information system is required.
• Must be able to work as a team member in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously with others.
• Familiarity working with database systems a plus
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Ability to pass a government background investigation which requires Permanent Residency or US Citizenship.
The Records Specialist will
• Use a records management system (database) for search, retrieval, and data entry,
• Review documents and apply quality control criteria,
• Communicate efficiently with supervisor and coworkers to correct and resolve issues related to documents reviewed and processed,
• Respond to customer inquiries, participate in records organization project
• Assist colleagues with preparing and shipping large batches of records to off-site storage,
• Maintain daily activity statistics and produce detailed monthly activity reports.
