The George L. Argyros College of Business and Economics at Chapman University invites applications for a non-tenure track, Instructor or Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics beginning August 1, 2025.

Responsibilities
- Teach eight undergraduate and/or graduate courses (24 credits total) annually (August - May) in their area of expertise.
- Actively contribute as an integral member of the Argyros College faculty by engaging in department and university service as expected of a non-tenure track faculty member.
- Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality courses.
- Offer regular office hours to provide students with opportunities for one-on-one consultations, academic advising, and clarification of course materials.
- Participate in advising for students, helping them select appropriate courses and develop academic plans.
- Contribute to the overall mission of the institution by attending program meetings and supporting campus-wide initiatives and events.
- Serve on academic committees or task forces within the institution, contributing to discussions and decisions related to academic policies, curriculum development, and other relevant matters.
Qualifications
- Applicants with experience in economics or a related field are encouraged to apply
- An MBA or Doctoral Degree in a related field
- An outstanding record of professional achievement is required.
- Teaching experience preferred.

Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience. This position is contingent on final budget approval. Successful completion of a background check is required for the final candidate.
