POSITION SUMMARY

Join the U.S. Venture Sustainability team as a Sustainability Intern for Summer 2025! This internship will start June 2025 through August 2025 and is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI with hybrid-work opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This project will include:

• Research on the best means and/or media to capture inventory information of our facilities
• Process building on what and how to capture information from our sites
• On-site access to our facilities from across our business (each of our 6 facility types are within 30 minutes of our Appleton headquarters) for tours to experience operations and energy use.
• Access to our sustainability team, business unit stakeholders, and sustainability network
• Research and recommendations of appropriate energy use equipment to consider implementing
• Education on our projects in the market which are enabled by our facility operations
• Other potential relevant sustainability topics that fit the intern’s interests or business needs

The secondary project will include:

• Coordinating with the U.S. Venture Open team and WM for any needs in planning the waste and recycling efforts
• Attendance of the U.S. Venture Open as a volunteer to assist in any site activities necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Sustainability, Research or Data/Surveying background

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Heightened attention to detail

• Self-motivating and intellectually curious
