Branch Manager - Evergreen Armored Washington

Description

Evergreen Armored, a currency logistics company and subsidiary company of Maps Credit Union, seeks a full-time Branch Manager for our new Kent, Washington location. The Branch Manager reports to the CEO of Evergreen Armored and will have oversight of all lines of business focused on Operations, People (3+ direct reports), Routes, Cash Logistics, Safety, and Security. This position must remain flexible to adapt to daily changing business needs, which may include operating a service vehicle or assisting with currency processing and the vault. *Please note: The Kent, WA branch location is scheduled to open October 1, 2024. The person in this role must be available to train at our Keizer, OR location for two weeks.

Key responsibilities of the Branch Manager include:

Operations:

· Assume responsibility for the overall market management at a location. Ensure successful integration and partnership with all Evergreen Armored services and customers.

· Manage costs, create efficiencies and drive services to positively impact business results in the market. 

· Identify new opportunities for Evergreen Armored’s products and services to be introduced within the appropriate market. Understand industry competition, including operational characteristics, market pricing and market impact.

People: 

· Ensure proper recruitment, selection, and training, while mentoring, coaching, and developing branch team members.

· Maintain a positive work environment, fostering a culture that embodies our core values of Commitment, Character, Competence, Collaboration, and Composition. 

· Maintain high ethical standards and protect Evergreen Armored’s reputation by delivering high-quality, reliable programs and services that meet customer expectations.

· Establish profitable relationships by maintaining good communications and service levels with customers.

Routes:

· Design efficient and cost-effective delivery routes, utilizing route planning software and tools to optimize logistics operations.

· Quickly address and resolve logistical challenges, such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, or changes in delivery schedules.

· Use excellent communication skills to coordinate drivers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery information.

· Track route performance, monitor delivery times, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

· Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of the fleet, scheduling regular inspections and servicing.

 Cash Logistics:

· Understand and adhere to security protocols and procedures to ensure the safe transport and handling of cash and valuables.

· Manage cash counting, sorting, and reconciliation processes with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy cash containers and being on your feet for extended periods.

Safety, Security & Compliance:

· Proactively reduce risk exposure and ensure implementation of measures to reduce worker’s compensation injury costs and security losses within the market.

· Maintain the highest level of integrity, dignity, and standards internally and externally.

· Maintain confidentiality and protect Evergreen Armored’s operations by keeping negotiable instruments, cash, keys, and customer and/or Financial Institutions’ information secure at all times.

· Follow regulatory and policy compliance requirements, which include those efforts in compliance with the Federal Reserve Bank, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags and other compliance-related policies.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:

Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 25% of the time is spent over the road driving. Balance of time (approximately 75%) is spent walking, sitting and moving about inside facilities.

Speaking/Hearing: Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with co-workers, customers, and outside agencies, by telephone, and in person.

Vision: Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use computers, handheld scanners, and interpret written
