Position Summary:

Grant Writer expertise in program development, evaluation, strategic planning, research and development, for federal, state, education and nonprofit organizations.

Grant Writer will reviews grant proposals for reseller partners and makes recommendations to help federal, state, education and nonprofit organizations strengthen their final submission.

Strong writing, research, communication, and time management skills Detail oriented. Ability to work independently and to consistently meet deadlines Proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel

4-7 years experience working at or with nonprofit organizations

Manage grant solicitation and reporting calendars for our nonprofit partners, as well as strategize with them on their grant program.


What you bring to the role:

Role includes establishing the database for managing the awards, developing reporting and other documents for grantee submission, and establishing the record-keeping system

Expertise in writing, reviewing and editing

Compile a ranked list of recommended prospects to our partners tailored for nonprofit, SLED and Federal agencies

Develop and provide organizational overview of the grant for the partners , to review and revise as needed and ensure to correctly, and thoroughly, understands the organization, mission, programs, and beneficiaries.

Develop a variety of grant databases for Cloud Non-Profits, Education, State, Local and Federal government partners, help them identify the solutions that will help solve for their grant technology needs of their customers.

Develop a 12-months solicitation calendar for Cloud partner base

Review a variety of current Request for Proposal (RFP) lists, alerting clients to upcoming opportunities that might be a good fit for their organizations.

Support client request prospect research for a particular program, new geographic area, or target population, searching  for additional prospects for partner.

Manage multiple partner accounts, which includes meeting with the partners to determine fundraising needs and viable prospects, maintaining proposal submission calendar, and serving as the clients’ point person.

Work in collaboration with the sales and technical teams to insure the the partner is delivering right solution for the customers.

Position Qualifications:

● Experience in grant seeking, grant research, grant writing, program design, and evaluation is a must.

● Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

● Strong knowledge of computer programs, software, and online document sharing programs.

● Ability to organize and prioritize to successfully meet deadlines.

● Strong knowledge of online grant application portals (foundation, corporate, and government).

● Requires, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree.

Professional Skills:

● Critical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills are a must.

● Minimum 2-4 years' grant writing experience

● Exceptional writing and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, etc.

● Confidence, integrity, honesty, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

● Genuine care for client outcomes.

● GPC (Grant Professional Certified)  preferred, but not required.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $74,900.00 - $127,300.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
