YOU WILL BE: 

The Project Manager, Store Planning and Design is responsible for leading and managing multiple design teams and various consultants accountable for the store planning, design, and delivery of retail projects. The Project Manager is highly involved in all phases of project delivery, manages day-to-day communications with our internal and external partners, and leads and mentors team members to produce an exceptional level of design quality. The position requires developing strong relationships with various departments, taking full ownership of assigned areas, and driving process improvements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• You lead from the front with hope, optimism, and perceived resilience, resulting in a reputation for a strong leadership style

• You evaluate the future in the context of day-to-day realities, as well as linking the long-term vision with short-term results

• You drive performance with a direct and clear style that encourages follow-through on commitments and goals

• Act as lead design manager and drive the project delivery during all phases of the project

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans

• Establish and maintain great collaborative relationships with all departmental stakeholders

• Lead the relationships with our internal and external partners, architects, designers, contractors, as well as engineering and specialty consultants

• Oversee the coordination and document preparation for the project, provide quality assurance and review of project documentation

• Manage project teams, assign and monitor completion of tasks

• Ensure the project is documented correctly and maintain clear records of all assigned projects

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or equivalent experience

• 5-7 years of Project and Design Management experience in working on a variety of retail projects

• High level of design competence and expertise in retail

• Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent client service

• Experience in building a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  Ability to work under pressure and work independently
  Exceptional problem-solving skills, detailed oriented, and the ability to think strategically

• Ability to maximize productivity through time management while promoting teamwork and actively contributing to a positive work environment

• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suites is required
