The Associate Product Builder (APB) Program is your chance to be part of that transformation, working in a brand new role as an Associate Product Builder - a blend between Product Manager, Designer and Engineer. This full-time, two-year program is for early-career builders who want to launch products from inception to launch. You’ll help drive a small, AI-native team with engineers, designers, and mentors, and you’ll build products that solve real problems for LinkedIn’s global member base.

We’re hiring builders with a demonstrated track record of delivering product value. Ideal candidates have already launched something real and can articulate their thinking across design, product, and tech. Whether your foundation is in engineering, design, business, or product, what matters most is that you’re curious, hands-on, and serious about building.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a user problem from insight to launch, turning needs into simple, high-impact solutions

  • Define goals, set OKRs, and use data and feedback to iterate quickly

  • Prototype UIs, leverage AI, and work side-by-side with engineers to bring ideas to life.

  • Think like a founder: Drive strategy, identify partnership opportunities, and prioritize roadmaps

  • Collaborate across disciplines to ship features that create real value for members

  • Learn from mentors across product, engineering and design as you grow your full-stack craft

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Built and shipped a product or feature used by real users. This could be a budgeting app, a habit-tracking mobile app, recipe-sharing website, or anything you built that real people have used.

  • Completed a B.A./B.S in a technical or product-related discipline by December 31, 2025 OR equivalent experience 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines including product, design, and engineering

  • Demonstrated experience showing your product intuition, user-centered design and proven impact

  • Fundamental knowledge of programming and AI 

  • Strong proficiency in tools like GPT-4, Replit, Cursor, Figma Make, or similar Familiarity with front-end tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or design systems

  • Leadership in team-based projects, student orgs, hackathons, or entrepreneurial work

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $126,000 to $207,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
