POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing financial insight and support across a portfolio of companies, helping to drive performance and strategic decision-making. The Financial Analyst will analyze financial results, identify trends, and support forecasting and budgeting activities. The role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, operational metrics, and cost drivers, with the ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and actionable way.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-entity environment and collaborating across departments. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, supporting revenue recognition, reviewing project pipelines, and developing standardized reporting practices. The Financial Analyst will also support efforts to improve data quality, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a collaborative team environment.

Key Duties and essential functions:

  • Analyze platform and individual company financial information and performance, including gross profit margins, operating costs, and working capital for multiple entities.

  • Review and understand upcoming projects (backlog) and pipeline at individual companies to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business objectives.

  • Analyze variances from budget and prior periods, present and discuss results and insights with key stakeholders.

  • Assist in applying Revenue Recognition standards.

  • Generate analytical information, visualizations and reports explaining financial and operational results and trends for individual companies and the broader platform.

  • Contribute to standardization of monthly and quarterly platform reporting.

  • Understand expense drivers at individual companies and across regions and like companies on the platform to identify opportunities for cost efficiency.

  • Gather and analyzes data on project and product usage to find efficiencies across the organization.

  • Develop forecasting techniques to address expense drivers.

  • Assist with data validation to ensure data quality in newly implemented financial tools and systems.

  • Assist with annual and on-going budget preparation.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 2–4 years of experience working with accounting and financial data

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated curiosity and a data-driven mindset, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Proven ability to build relationships across multiple departments and organizational levels

  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, as needed (0-15%)
