Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, WW Compute GTM. The WW Compute Business Unit is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the leader for Service providers, OEM and Telco customer segments. The finance business partner will drive analytics during short and long term planning and forecasting. Create budgets and track against performance of aforementioned customer segments. Sr. Finance Analyst will partner with Strategy and Ops team members to ensure financial data is accurate and timely for PBI dashboards to enable a smooth business management cadence. Team will partner with other finance team members in relation to flash, actuals and support of compute finance goals. This is a hybrid role, based in our Houston, TX office.
Responsibilities:
- Provides the most complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a unique understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
- Consults with business leaders to guide and influence long- term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
- Forecasts financial results within the broadest scope.
- Leads and advises on the most complex business initiatives, typically leading several analysts across multiple areas within finance and across geographies/organizations.
- Drives process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.
- Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
- Typically 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.
- Experience with Power BI.
