About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Data & Analytics, a visionary and strategic leader passionate about leveraging data to foster innovation, operational scale, and growth. This critical role involves working closely with executive and functional leaders to shape and drive the company-wide data strategy, aligning it with our organizational objectives. Your leadership will not only inspire but will be the catalyst for change, making you an integral part of our journey towards achieving and exceeding our ambitious goals.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Focus

  • Define and implement a vision for a scalable, reliable data platform and infrastructure
  • Oversee the entire data lifecycle, including engineering, architecture, governance, analytics, and data science

Organizational Leadership

  • Lead a multifaceted team of data professionals to inform strategic decisions impacting product development, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and customer experience
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement, demonstrating urgency and commitment to excellence

Data Governance

  • Strategically deploy a data governance framework, collaborating across departments to enhance data quality, compliance, and accessibility
  • Champion data quality and governance, ensuring adherence to policies and standards

Infrastructure and Technology Alignment

  • Align data infrastructure with business needs, ensuring the adoption of advanced technologies for data discovery, quality assurance, and analytics
  • Actively participate in business and technical discussions to champion best practices in data management and analytics

Leadership and Operational Excellence

  • Serve as a change agent, accelerating the transformation to a data-centric culture
  • Build trust and credibility across the organization, prioritizing data needs and delivering impactful solutions

Quality, Performance & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain high data quality standards while managing costs effectively
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to uphold data privacy and security standards

Talent Recruitment and Development

  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent, promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the team
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance

Mergers and Acquisitions Expertise

  • Utilize M&A experience to streamline data integration, supporting business transformation and consolidation efforts

What You’ll Need:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in Data & Analytics leadership roles, demonstrating increasing complexity, scale and responsibility

  • BA/BS Degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is desirable

  • Experience leading mission-critical data and analytics programs, processes and infrastructure at scale (in organizations exceeding $1B revenue with 5,000+ employees globally)

  • Proven experience leading B2B SaaS organizations through transformational change, building data capabilities, and turning data insights into business value

  • Previous experience developing processes and operations to implement and manage data governance principles and policies, master data management, management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data protection and privacy

  • Experience leading a large portfolio of programs/projects and associated ongoing prioritization and resource allocation

  • Strong understanding of next gen data practices (ML Ops, Data Ops, Data Science) and experience applying them in an enterprise organization.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and driving forward-looking strategies

How You’ll Be Rewarded:

  • Salary range in the US: 
$225,000.00 - $311,000.00
  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
  • 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
