What You'll Do

• Lead and actively participate in daily maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations and timely issue resolution.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and urgent repairs in guest rooms and hotel systems.
• Ensure all safety and compliance standards are met, including inspections and equipment checks.
• Maintain department budget and ensure tools and equipment are in top condition.
• Oversight of one maintenance engineer; lead by example in promoting safety, system knowledge, and proactive maintenance.
• Work closely with the front desk and housekeeping teams to coordinate maintenance efforts with minimal guest disruption.
• Act as Safety Committee Chairperson and uphold hotel safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• High school graduate or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
• 2+ years hotel maintenance experience; supervisory background preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety codes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to endure abundant physical movements in carrying out job duties.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets Company standards for operating vehicles on its behalf.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations.

Bonus Points For

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Trade licenses or certifications.
• Experience with hotel maintenance systems and compliance standards.
