The Senior Engineering Manager - AME and Program Support Quality will lead a team of talented engineers at our Twin Cities Campus manufacturing sites (Rice Creek, Brooklyn Park, Plymouth-Annapolis, Plymouth-Cheshire).  This role is pivotal in driving new product introductions and supporting significant projects across multiple sites. The Senior Engineering Manager will play a key role in mentoring and coaching engineers, ensuring successful project execution, and contributing to the Quality Leadership team.  

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead and manage AME engineers focused on New Product Introductions, developing and commercializing manufacturing processes for combination products. 

  • Oversee process development, characterization, IQ/OQ/PQ, and launch readiness activities to bring products to market efficiently. 

  • Lead and manage Project Support Engineers working on mid- to large-scale projects, including continuous improvement initiatives, programmatic savings, and CAPA projects. 

  • Ensure effective resource allocation and management to support various projects across the Twin Cities Campus. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and functions to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals. 

  • Participate on the Quality Leadership team, offering insights and strategies to improve quality across the campus. 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 7+ years of work experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or experience in a regulated industry with 5+ years of leadership experience OR Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 5+ years of work experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or experience in a regulated industry with 5+ years of leadership experience

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams. 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across teams and functions. 

  • Experience in resource management and allocation in a dynamic environment. 

  • Familiarity with leadership practices and continuous improvement methodologies. 

  • Proven experience in combination product manufacturing and process validation requirements.
