POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Logistics and Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the delivery, pickup, and organization of IT and AV equipment within a 100-mile radius of the Pflugerville warehouse. The role involves performing various warehouse duties, including picking, packing, shipping, and asset management, while ensuring accuracy in all documentation and timelines. The associate will collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and will handle the configuration of audio-visual equipment using laptops. The ideal candidate has experience as a delivery driver in city conditions, warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and is comfortable with technology and managing multiple tasks. Additionally, the role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Logistics and Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include a combination of equipment delivery, asset management, and warehouse operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless logistics for client projects and maintaining the operational efficiency of our Austin warehouse.
- Delivery and Pickup:
- Organize, deliver, and pick up IT and AV equipment within a 100-mile radius of the Austin warehouse.
- Navigate the greater Austin area, including one-way streets, bus-only streets, and loading/unloading zones
- Warehouse Duties:
- Assist with picking, packing, receiving, shipping, cycle counting, and standard cleaning duties.
- Organize and manage client assets, ensuring timely retrieval and delivery.
- Documentation & Accuracy:
- Ensure 100% accuracy in all documentation submitted, verifying all details before submission.
- Communicate missing equipment and discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
- Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with team members to manage multiple deadlines, negotiating priorities to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Play a key role in supporting larger team efforts, contributing to seamless operations and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering equipment accurately and on schedule.
- Technical Responsibilities
- Utilize a laptop to configure audio-visual equipment as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Delivery Experience:
- Prior experience as a delivery driver, including safe loading and unloading of equipment.
- Familiarity with the greater Austin area and experience driving in city conditions.
- A Clean driving record and a valid Class C driver’s license are required for this position.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and follow proper lifting techniques.
- Warehouse Experience:
- Experience in a warehouse environment, including shipping, receiving, and asset management.
- Forklift qualification is a plus, but not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, and MS Office products.
- Comfortable using laptops and learning new software.
- Communication and Teamwork:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with a hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
