Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Civil Engineer to join our team in applying engineering skills to challenging projects for our Anchorage office.

The Coffman Anchorage Civil Engineering department is a 16-person team dedicated to an environment of learning, teamwork, and creativity. This environment helps build our team members’ talents and strengths to better serve our clients and the Alaska community. Our Anchorage Office is a multi-discipline team that creates a positive learning environment that extends beyond civil engineering.

Currently, our Anchorage team works on projects that include military, oil & gas, commercial, education, and utilities. Our projects span throughout Alaska and beyond to Hawaii, Guam, Wake Island, and the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration as a PE, preferred
• 5 or more years of experience in the design development, permitting, and construction assistance in a variety of sectors including oil and gas, military, and public sector projects
• Experience in a multi-discipline setting
• Experience with both urban and rural infrastructure throughout Alaska preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
