We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect to support our customer and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. You will work cross-functionally to help our customer design, plan, implement, and guide enterprise strategies. In this role, you will be a technical advisor who will help to lead and direct the execution of the cloud strategy by combining expertise and business insights. You will partner with other teams to drive strategic initiatives for solutions. 

About the role:

As a Senior Software Architect, you will be driving the technical vision for our products daily. Your days will be spent collaborating with various teams, including product management, design, and development, to understand and shape the requirements for our software applications. You will be creating high-level design documents and diagrams using methodologies like UML, dictating technical standards, including coding standards, tools, or platforms. In addition, you will provide guidance to our development team, ensuring alignment with the designed architecture. You will conduct code reviews, oversee the progress of the development team, and troubleshoot high-level technical issues. As the technology leader, you will be communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies to stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical team members. Lastly, you will ensure our software's quality, security, and extensibility, approving the final product before its launch. This role requires constant learning and adaptation to new technologies and trends, thus driving the team and the product's growth.

What we are looking for:

  • Collaborate with various teams to ascertain both functional and non-functional requirements for new software applications
  • Leverage appropriate tools and methodologies to represent desired product functions and user interface designs
  • Develop comprehensive high-level product specifications, paying careful attention to system integration and feasibility
  • Define all aspects of development process, including appropriate technology selection, workflow design, and coding standards
  • Communicate effectively with the development team, translating complex concepts and design guidelines into easily understandable tasks
  • Oversee the progress of the development team, ensuring the final product aligns consistently with the initial design
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers, cultivating a robust learning environment
  • Ensure the software adheres to all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility
  • Approve the final product before launch, guaranteeing it meets both internal standards and user needs

Highly preferred:

  • Proven experience as a software architect
  • Extensive experience in software development and coding in various languages, including C#, .NET, and Java
  • Exceptional knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  • Excellent understanding of UML and other modeling methods
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript, as well as UI/UX design
  • Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles
  • A technical mindset with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and effectively

  • Current Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
